The only mag to get on May 11, 2008 by Duji from Boston

  • Pros: News soundbites from worldwide sources
  • Cons: none!

Once we found The Week, we canceled our Newsweek and Times subscriptions. This is simply the best mag we've found. In fact, we've considered getting a 2nd subscription since we fight over who gets it first! ;-)

The Week, my take... on April 02, 2008 by wlazar from Greater Boston

  • Pros: Substantive and timely information on a wide breadth of subjects.
  • Cons: For what The Week is, no cons.

I enjoy reading The Week it helps put events in focus from a wide variety of sources and views. Moreover, the magazine's format makes for easy reading when you only have time to review, yet has articles that are in depth as well. In short The Week is a good cursory overview of events with no spin a good primer for conversation and understanding.

I read every word, every week on March 10, 2008 by Patty from Catawba, NC

  • Pros: International, short, shows all sides of an issue, books, movies, food, lifestyle all in one hour
  • Cons: no cons

I received The Week several years ago as a gift and cannot live without it. I have given it to my children and one said that he can contribute to any conversation after reading The Week. I especially love the international slant , the summation of editorials from all over the world, and the book reviews and highlighted authors, I have cancelled Newsweek and read this cover to cover in no time.
